My friend Holly B. and her cousin Lindsey are just plain beautiful girls and thise was my first time photographing them. It was kind of chilly outside, as it was getting dark (which also limited my natural light), so we didn't do as much as I would have liked too. But once the weather gets warmer you'll see a lot more of these two!

Myrtle Beach, SC (Sept. 2007)

I don't go to Myrtle Beach much, it's just too crowded for my liking but we went with my in-laws and had a fabulous time. Unfortunatly K-bug came down with the stomach bug the first night we were there but that meant I was still up when the sun came up....so.....

Southeast Old Threashers Reunion

Every year just a few miles up the road our town hosts the Southeast Old Threashers Reunion at the Denton Farmpark. My husband works there, and me, I just visit. Before moving to this part of Randolph County I never knew this festival existed. The dates vary from year to year but always ends on July 4th. It's not all my cup of tea, but it does bring out some interesting people and can make for a few good photo shots.

My K-bug

Just wanted to share some of my little girl. You'll see her from time to time on here (okay well most of the time!).

I'm not sure when this was taken but it was the first time I let her "feed" herself and I'm not sure any of it actually made it into her mouth:

My First Wedding Gig-June 07

This couple found me on myspace and asked me to do their engagement pictures (which I'll dig out and post soon) and I ended up getting to shoot their wedding too! It was a cute ceremony and it wasn't hard to see the love between the bride and the groom:

My two friends, Holly and Chris, got married in May of 2006 and I was honored to be one of her bridesmaids, and that left me with little time behind the lens. But she did hire one of the best photographers in our town to shoot her wedding and it was a pleasure to watch him work. I did manage to get a few shots of my own here and there though...
